New governance elected at the CREA headquarters in Rome. Tavoletta: \u00abAn honour to lead the association for another four years, combining faith and science in agrifood\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the end of the National Committee's work,\u00a0Nicola Tavoletta<\/strong>\u00a0was unanimously re-elected to the leadership of\u00a0Acli Terra,<\/strong>\u00a0the professional agricultural association of the ACLI. The confirmation took place in a setting of high symbolic and scientific value: the headquarters of the\u00a0CREA<\/strong>\u00a0(Council for Agricultural Research and Analysis of Agricultural Economics), in Via della Navicella in Rome.<\/p>\n

Along with the reappointment of the National President, the new team that will make up the\u00a0President's Committee<\/strong>\u00a0for the next four years:<\/p>\n

Arianna Zizzo<\/strong>Deputy Vice President;<\/p>\n

Nico Ruiu and Ignazio Maugeri<\/strong>Vice Presidents;<\/p>\n

Michele Zannini, Giuseppe Cecere and Matteo Trentinaglia:<\/strong>\u00a0Components;<\/p>\n

Venanzio Pennesi and Tommaso Pupa<\/strong>: Permanent guests.<\/p>\n

While thanking the Committee for their trust, reappointed President Nicola Tavoletta emphasised the historical importance of the place chosen for the election:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are in the Crea headquarters, an extraordinary place that encapsulates the very essence of our mission. In this space stood the first church built in Rome, and it was here that Saint Francis lived. At the same time, for about a century, this has been an incubator for scientists who have brought prestige to Italian agribusiness, just think of the work of Nazareno Strampelli.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking forward to future challenges, Tavoletta added:<\/p>\n

\u201cHere we gathered the first AcliTerra committee to elect the new governance and design the staff for the next four years. We are proud to be able to combine faith and science in this symbolic place, starting off with momentum to support the agricultural sector and rural communities over the next four years.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new Acli Terra organisation is therefore preparing to work on a programme that will focus on sustainability, scientific innovation and the protection of agricultural labour, while keeping its roots firmly in the social and spiritual values that characterise the association.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
