There is a new museum on the C\u00f4te d'Azur thanks to a couple of Italian patrons in the former Hotel des Ambassaseurs in Menton. The Mus\u00e9e Marabini-Martac<\/strong>, opened earlier this summer in Menton. The project resulting from the renovation of the historic Hotel des Amabassadeurs, a building designed in 1865 by Gustave Eiffel in the Belle Epoque style, at number 3 Rue Partouneaux, is partly Italian. It is in fact the hotel's Italian owners, Liana Marabini-Martac and Mauro Marabini, who decided to convert the building into a museum to exhibit more than 900 works including paintings, sculptures, photographs, books and manuscripts by artists and writers. Collectors and patrons, both authors of several books and articles of a cultural nature, the Marabini couple already have several \u201cartistic\u201d experiences behind them: creators of the Sacred Contemporary Art Biennial (BACS<\/strong>), which takes place every two years in Menton (next edition in October 2025) and in Villa Tignano in Emilia, gave birth a few years ago to the private museum Art.<\/p>\n With an exhibition dedicated to food in the history of art, the Mus\u00e9e Marabini-Martac opens under the supervision of a committee of experts consisting of art historians, gallery owners, journalists and world-famous museum directors. \u201cFood in art through the ages<\/strong>\u201dIt proposes a journey back in time through the works of artists who have grappled with a theme much represented in history: from Guido Reni to Giorgio Morandi's still lifes, via William Turner, Alexander Calder, Salvador Dal\u00ec, Lucio Fontana and Banksy.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Presso l\u2019ex Hotel des Ambassaseurs \u00e8 stato inaugurato il \u201cMus\u00e9e Marabini-Martac\u201d Il museo C\u2019\u00e8 un nuovo museo in Costa Azzurra grazie ad una coppia di mecenati italiani l’ex Hotel des Ambassaseurs a Mentone.
