This is 44.6% more than the 789 cases in Piedmont, where on 7 January 2022 the National Reference Centre for the study of pestivirus and asphivirus diseases at the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Umbria and Marche confirmed the first case of swine fever in continental Italy in a wild boar carcass found in the municipality of Ovada (Alessandria). These are the data from the latest bulletin of the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta.
