This is why we are looking forward to starting our collaboration and creating synergies between our two entities'.<\/p>\n<p>These were the statements sealing the sponsorship pact between the Del Vecchio family's company and the Principality's football team.<\/p>\n<p>Twiga, owned by the club, is on the team's training shirts, but it is another commercial product, part of the deal, that intrigues us, namely \u2019Acqua Fiuggi\u201c.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DOLB_HyCkGN\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DOLB_HyCkGN\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&amp;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In fact, the brand of the springs and the bottling plant of the town in the province of Frosinone are advertised on all the uniforms of the amateur teams of the Monaco Sports Association.<br \/>\nThe company LMDV Capital has owned 70% of Acqua Fiuggi since 2024, seeking to restore it to the splendour of the past, when it was among the most consumed bottled waters.<\/p>\n<p>During the 20th century, Fiuggi established itself as a spa resort of international prestige, frequented by aristocrats, politicians and celebrities, while the water was bottled and distributed increasingly widely in Italy and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The official consecration of the therapeutic properties of Fiuggi water in the history of medicine dates back to 1696, when Giorgio Bavigli, professor of Anatomy and Surgery at La Sapienza University, highlighted its effectiveness in treating kidney stones and purifying the blood.<\/p>\n<p>It was known since the Middle Ages for its purifying properties. The first written records date back to the 13th century, when the spring was already a destination for pilgrimages and spa treatments. The water's fame grew over the centuries, thanks in part to the story that Pope Boniface VIII benefited from it for the treatment of a form of calculosis.<\/p>\n<p>A very famous historical testimony is the 1549 letter written by Michelangelo Buonarroti, who also suffered from kidney stones.
