It will be held in *Bologna, on *22 and 23 January 2026*, l’*VIII National Congress of Acli Terra*, the professional agricultural association of Acli dedicated to the development of the rural world, marinas and territories. The appointment, hosted at the Relais Bellaria (via Altura 11 bis), will see representatives of institutions, agricultural economics experts and trade union leaders take turns to outline the future of the agrifood and environmental sector.
The proceedings will open on the afternoon of Thursday 22 January with a spiritual reflection by *Don Paolo Dall'Olio* and institutional greetings, including that of the Acli National Vice President, *Pierangelo Milesi*.
*Statements by the National President* - A few days before the Congress, the National President, *Nicola Tavoletta*, emphasised the symbolic and programmatic value of the choice of venue: “We will celebrate the next National Congress in Bologna, the land of Giuseppe Fanin, our Noble Father. We chose the city of Bologna to express the new development of the Association in northern Italy”.
Taking stock of the mandate, Tavoletta highlighted the growth of the organisation: “The association has grown in membership and representative functions. At this Congress we will identify the distinctiveness of Acli Terra in the *agri-food pedagogy*, moving from the logic of productivity to the logic of personality. We fight against synthetic food and work for adequate welfare for farmers and fishermen, upholding the authentic spirit of the CAP and putting the dignity of work at the centre.
*The programme of work* - The heart of the debate will be marked by three technical round tables:
1. *Institutions and programming*: at 4 p.m., with the participation of, among others, *Nicola Caputo* (MFA), *Maria Chiara Gadda* e *Stefano Vaccari* (Comm. on Agriculture), and MEP *.Giuseppe Lupo*. A video message from * is also planned.Maurizio Martina* (FAO) and the greeting of *Nicola Di Noia* (Caa Coldiretti).
2. *CAP and economic development*: at 5.45 p.m., a technical discussion with economists *Angelo Frascarelli* e *Attilio Celant*, together with *Fabio Pallottini* (Italmercati)Claudio Risso* (Terra Viva Cisl) and *Carlo Hausmann* (rural development expert).
3. *Assistance to companies and workers*: at 6.30 p.m., focusing on safeguards and technological innovation with industry experts and the Vice President of Acli Terra, *Arianna Zizzo*.
The first day will be closed by the reflections of *Don Alessandro Paone* (CEI). The morning of Friday 23 January will instead see dialogue with the top management of Acli services (*Stefano Parisi* for the Caf, *Ezio Dandrea* for the CAA and *Paolo Ricotti* for the Patronage) and the intervention of *Don Bruno Bignami* (CEI).
The congress will culminate with a greeting from the Acli National President, *Emiliano Manfredonia*, which will be followed by the debate and the start of the election procedures for the renewal of the Acli Terra National Presidency.
