A national plan for the demolition and reconstruction of rural and coastal property from the 1950s-1980s to ensure safety, energy efficiency, and job creation.
The National President ofAcli Terra, Nicola Tavoletta, participated in the National Assembly of *AGCI Agroittico*, an important moment of discussion focused on the future of Italian agri-food, between innovation, quality and sustainability of the supply chains.
During his speech, President Tavoletta expressed great satisfaction with the strong bond and collaboration that unites the two associations, recalling how both are members of the CAA ACLI. A strategic alliance that is reflected in the sharing of common objectives for the development of the country's primary and fishing sectors.
The heart of Acli Terra's reflection was dedicated to a fundamental strategic challenge for the relaunch of work, safety, and the competitiveness of Italian agricultural and maritime communities: the necessity of new rural and maritime construction, modern, sustainable, and adequate to the needs of our time, capable of replacing the now inadequate structures built in past decades.
“We must act – declared the national president of Acli Terra" Nicola Tavoletta – to guarantee a lower environmental impact on the territory, safer homes, to kick-start construction, and to provide better services for all those who work in agriculture, seafaring, and tourism. We must work together on a proposal for the rebuilding of all those rural or coastal residential areas built in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, which today are now dangerous and excessively energy-intensive. A grand alliance with the national association of Italian builders is needed for a plan of demolition and reconstruction. Farmers and seafarers have every right to live in modern, comfortable, and earthquake-resistant homes. Let's work together for a modern Italy.
