On Tuesday 1 July 2025, the inaugural celebration of the ACLI of the Principality of Monaco, which had already been established in March with publication in the Official Gazette of the Principality, took place.
Acli President Emiliano Manfredonia attended the event, accompanied by Acli International Federation Vice-President Matteo Bracciali.
With them was the National President of Acli Terra, Nicola Tavoletta, who was the promoter and one of the founders of the association in the Principality.
The delegation, accompanied by the President of the newly founded Acli Monegasque, Ginevra De Masi, and Honorary President Niccolò Caissotti di Chiusano, first paid a visit to the parish community of Saint Devote, Patron Saint of the State. There they met with parish priest Don Claudio for a discussion and a moment of common prayer.
This was followed by a well-attended public meeting at which the local authorities and the club leadership spoke.
Present were the Ambassador of the Italian Republic Manuela Ruosi and two members of the City Council: Deputy Mayors Jacques Pastor and Marjorie Crovetto presented by the Vice-President of the neo-acli monegasque Nicola Buratti.
One aspect was chorally addressed: the strategic importance of a historically reliable and clearly identifiable organisation for Christian values in an area highly characterised by multiple forms of work.
A geographical area where residents and border crossers face each other in a constant professional development and rights and duties are constantly evolving.
The ACLI in the Principality of Monaco, according to territorial president Ginevra De Masi, is an instrument of community, as well as service, and social educational development.
President Manfredonia, in addition to thanking all the new members and the many young volunteers who started the association, emphasised the importance of the acli's values in upholding the dignity of every worker, underlining the role of the acli in building community, and reiterating the commitment to support the new Italian migration.
