The Monaco 2026 Job Forum: perfect matching in the heart of the Principality

Almost there: the 4th Munich Employment Forum is just around the corner. It will be held on Friday, 6 February 2026 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, confirming its status as one of the leading events for jobseekers and expanding companies.

Organised by the Government of the Principality, the event brings together companies from a wide range of public and private sectors: from hospitality and catering to the legal and accounting professions, from security and construction to digital technologies and emerging innovation-related professions. Candidates will be able to meet recruiters face-to-face, exchange views with human resources representatives and obtain first-hand information on concrete job opportunities in Monaco's productive fabric.

Over the years, the event has become increasingly significant. L’2025 edition had almost 6,000 participants and over 100 companies present, demonstrating the growing interest of both candidates and companies.

The forum also includes spaces dedicated to career guidance, institutional services and in-depth information on training, labour regulations and career support programmes.

But in what employment context does it take place?

The labour market in Monaco is extremely international: the workforce includes people of more than 145 nationalities, with a strong presence of French, Italian and Portuguese nationals.

It has experienced steady growth in recent years, with a total of about 78,364 jobs at the end of 2024, marking an increase of almost 4.8% compared to 2023 and almost 18,400 new jobs compared to ten years earlier.

The overwhelming majority of employment opportunities are concentrated in the private sector, comprising more than 60,454 jobs in 2024, or about 92% of wage-earning jobs.

This trend reflects the wide range of economic activities in the Principality: specialised services, technology, tourism, international finance, construction and business support activities.

Among the fastest growing sectors are:

  • Scientific, technical and administrative activities, which absorb an important share of the private workforce.
  • Tourism and hospitality, constantly developing thanks to Monaco's international appeal.
  • Temporary work, with a significant increase in flexible contracts: in 2024, almost 13% of private sector employees worked on temporary contracts, reflecting the dynamic nature of the local market.

In short, a CV under your arm, a pinch of curiosity and a strong desire to get involved: the Monaco Employment Forum is waiting for you! Because opportunities do not knock on the door ... but at the Forum they do, and they often speak several languages!
