The wedding of the century: the memory of Grace and Ranieri 70 years on

Today, April 19th, but in 1956, the wedding between HSH Rainier III of Monaco and the world cinema star Grace Kelly was celebrated in a religious ceremony.
The ceremony was broadcast by television channels from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios.
30 million viewers from all over the world were calculated to be watching.
Given the enormous following, in relation to the technical means of the time and the availability of televisions, it was defined as the most anticipated event in the world or, more classically, the Wedding of the Century.
None of us in this newsroom were among the 700 guests at the time; none of us had even been born that day, and our parents probably hadn't been either.
However, this Editorial Board remembers and celebrates this date with a Sincere Wish, greeting it with affection and admiration.
