The Principality of Monaco restarts from the words of Pope Leo XIV: ACLI Monaco compared with Father Claudio Benvenuti*

With the historic pastoral visit of *His Holiness Leo XIV* in the Principality, the *ACLI of the Principality of Monaco* promote a moment of the highest spiritual and cultural value to deepen the legacy left by the Pontiff. The appointment is set for next *1 April 2026, at 16:00 hours, at the*Agora - Maison Diocésaine de Monaco*.
The event will feature *Father Claudio Benvenuti*, a leading figure in local spirituality, who will lead a collective reflection on the key messages launched by the Holy Father during his apostolic journey. The visit of Leo XIV marked a milestone for the Monegasque community, reigniting the debate on international solidarity, the work ethic and the custody of creation in the unique context of the Principality.
At the end of the debate, the value of words will be transformed into a concrete gesture with the *Official handover of a new 40-volume collection from the DFG Lab publishing house* at the Agora library, in the presence of the publishers.
*The statements of Ginevra De Masi*
*Ginevra De Masi*, President of the ACLI of the Principality of Monaco, emphasised the strategic importance of this meeting:
“The pastoral visit of Pope Leo XIV is not just a news event, but a profound shock to the conscience of our Principality. As President of the ACLI, I feel the duty to transform that emotion into a path of awareness. This meeting with Father Claudio Benvenuti stems precisely from the desire to ‘inhabit’ the Holy Father's words, so that they do not remain distant speeches, but become lymph for our daily commitment to social issues, solidarity, and the building of a more cohesive community.”
President De Masi continues:
“We want culture to be the bridge between spirituality and action. The donation of these 40 new titles to the Maison Diocésaine is a symbolic but powerful gesture: enhancing knowledge means offering tools of freedom and growth to all. The presence of Leo XIV reminded us that the true wealth of Monaco lies in its values and its ability to be a laboratory for universal dialogue.”
*Declaration by Giovanni Di Giorgi, publisher Dfg Lab*
“We are proud to promote this initiative, moved by the profound conviction that sport is not only practice on the field, but also storytelling, memory and, above all, inspiration for the new generations. As we like to repeat in the publishing house: you write sport, but you read life.
The creation of a space entirely dedicated to sports literature represents for us a concrete opportunity to bring readers closer to stories made of commitment, sacrifice and passion. With this donation, Lab DFG intends to strengthen the link between publishing and the territory in a tangible way, supporting cultural projects that put reading education at the centre.
This project is in line with our ongoing commitment to enhancing sports storytelling as a powerful tool for growth and social participation. It is a gesture that unites books, sport and community, creating a place where culture stops being just a word and becomes an experience shared by all.”
The meeting is open to citizens, representatives of institutions and all those who wish to share a moment of reflection and cultural growth.
